So it turns out if you beg, they will come!! Thanks to Barb and Reg for coming to see me and bringing me reading goodies!! It was so great to see both of you and to catch up :)
And word on the street is a whole slew of people are coming this afternoon!
I know a lot of you aren't close enough to come - thanks for keeping in touch and reading the blog and sending prayers and thoughts of love!!
My INR (coumadin levels) is 2.5 which is awesome because it has to be between 2 & 3 for 2 days in a row to go home, so unless it plummets tonight, I will be going home tomorrow!!
Other great news? I get to shower in the next 1/2 hour or so!! They are looking for a shower curtain for me now!! For my first shower, though great to be clean, I felt like a dog... shivering and soapy and waiting to be rinsed and dried... but it was AWESOME to be clean - so it was completely worth it!! But today I get to shower by myself!! I'm no longer hooked up to as many things, so a regular shower (with a stool so I can sit down when tired) (and nurses waiting right outside the door if anything goes wrong) is just SO exciting!!
