Ah ha! The internet just started working again!
Sorry for the delay everyone, but good news! When I walked into Julia's room this morning, she looked up at me, smiled, and said "I feel good!"
They gave her 2 Ambien and a pain pill last night, the nurse washed her hair and combed it, and she fell asleep to the sounds of a moisturizer hooked up to her oxygen line that she said sounded like a fish tank and was relaxing. :) She slept through the night (minus the brief interruptions for measuring temperature, blood sugar, etc.). And just now she said "I feel so much better." :) :)
Things are looking terrific! And so is Jules!!
The only not-so-great news is that they will likely be keeping her in the ICU for at least one more day, so we're hoping now that the transfer to a regular hospital room will take place tomorrow.
Continue to leave Julia encouraging posts...they so brighten her day!! :)
